Job Summary
Accountable for the daily kitchen operations and leading staff to ensure a high-quality, consistent product. Oversees all kitchen areas, supervises cooks and workers, manages production planning, maintains sanitation and food standards, assists Executive Chef, and guides staff development. Responsible for maintaining budget, ensuring guest satisfaction, and delivering exceptional service while leading by example in a Marriott International kitchen environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area.
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 2 years experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area.
