Job Summary
Major Food Group seeks experienced Sous Chefs to uphold the highest standards of cuisine and professionalism. Responsibilities include sourcing, ordering, and receiving high-quality ingredients, developing and maintaining recipes and techniques, organizing a large kitchen team, overseeing service, maintaining kitchen equipment, ensuring cleanliness and organization, and managing scheduling and inventory within a budget. Candidates must have at least 2 years of management experience and 4 years in a high-volume kitchen, alongside strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a managing capacity
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a quality-driven, high volume kitchen
- Strong communication skills a must
- Team-orientated and positive attitude
Desired Qualifications
- Culinary diploma or equivalent in experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency in verbal Spanish language a plus
