Job Summary
Sous Chef position at Young's with live-in option in Bristol area. You will lead and develop the kitchen team, design and deliver menus and daily specials, manage the kitchen rota, training and health and safety, and work alongside the Head Chef to drive growth and sales. The role offers autonomy to create menus, access to apprenticeship schemes and culinary masterclasses, free meals, staff discounts, pension, and holidays, with emphasis on delivering quality fresh food in a welcoming environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as Sous Chef or Senior CDP
- Leadership and team-management experience
- Hands-on chef with ability to lead and develop a team
- Ability to design and deliver new dishes and daily specials
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage kitchen staff rota, training and health & safety procedures
