Job Summary
Lead kitchen operations as Sous Chef by overseeing preparation and service of foods including pantry items, salads, soups, sauces, and pre-preparation for entrees; assist in ordering/receiving, menu development, cost control, waste management, and staff training; maintain sanitation and safe working conditions; ensure adherence to recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards set by the Executive Chef; monitor quality of perishable ingredients and uphold personal hygiene and dress code; comply with health department guidelines and safety regulations; participate in in-service trainings and collaborate withExecutive Chef and General Manager on department needs.
