Job Summary
Support the Executive Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations for Independent Living dining, delivering restaurant-style meals with high standards of quality, safety, and presentation. Contribute to menu development and ensure adherence to recipes, inventory control, FIFO, and SOPs. Maintain a clean, sanitary workstation, label prepared items with dates and initials, and meet service timelines. Bring strong leadership and communication skills, knowledge of dietary restrictions and food safety regulations, and experience in upscale restaurants or healthcare dining. Culinary Arts degree is a plus and ServSafe certification is required to support resident and guest satisfaction.
