Job Summary

Sous Chef for Hawksmoor Chicago reporting to the Executive Chef. Support menu development and tastings, maintain food quality and consistency, manage kitchen efficiency, uphold health and safety standards, maintain equipment, and set an example on the pass while guiding FOH/BOH staff. Contribute to the kitchen’s financial performance by monitoring GP targets, stock levels, purchasing/ordering efficiency, and understanding product, company recipes, and systems (including stock management and inventory control). Requires extensive experience in Chicago kitchens, prior experience launching/opening restaurants in Chicago/US, ability to work in high-volume environments, strong leadership and coaching abilities, and a willingness to discuss salary/benefits at interview.
