Job Summary
Essential duties as Sous Chef in a Brew Pub: maintain shift operations, ensure sanitation and food safety, update and read the manager log each shift, collaborate with team on menu offerings and daily specials, assist with hiring, training and coaching of kitchen staff, participate in quarterly check-ins and annual reviews, manage labor and inventory, ensure waste is minimized and food costs are controlled, and support events and promotions in coordination with other restaurant managers and events staff.
Required Qualifications
- Servesafe manager certification
- Minimum three to five years of experience in the restaurant/hospitality industry
- Ability to lead a team
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
