Job Summary
Sous Chef to assist the Head Chef and culinary team in delivering high-quality dishes for members and visitors. Responsibilities include developing and implementing menus aligned with culinary standards, preparing, cooking, and plating dishes efficiently, supervising kitchen staff in the Head Chef’s absence, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, minimizing waste and controlling costs through proper portion control and inventory management, maintaining cleanliness and organization, and continuously expanding knowledge of culinary trends to introduce new menu items and flavors.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
- Solid knowledge of culinary techniques and tools
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a hot and fast-paced environment
- Outstanding leadership, time management, and communication skills
