Job Summary

Lead daily kitchen operations in a senior living community as Sous Chef, supervising culinary and utility staff, directing food production and service to residents, ensuring adherence to recipes, proper food handling and safety, and compliance with dietary restrictions and production forecasts. Oversee sanitation of dining rooms and storage areas, support staffing and training, and collaborate with the culinary team to deliver chef-inspired, high-quality meals in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment. Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years full-service experience
  • Minimum of 6 months supervisory and coaching experience
  • Must be able to work some weekends and holidays
  • Be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures, including hot kitchen to refrigerators and freezers
