Job Summary
Sous Chef for Fireside Grille and Southern Oak in The Heritage at Brentwood. Responsibilities include preparing all planned food and menu items per Executive Chef guidance and standardized recipes, collaborating with culinary staff to meet residents’ needs, determining food quantities and procuring supplies, ensuring consistent quality, temperature, and presentation, maintaining kitchen hygiene and compliance with health regulations, following dress code, operating kitchen tools and equipment properly, coordinating with FOH to deliver quality service, and adhering to management policies to maintain consistency in guest experience. Requires at least 2 years’ cooking experience in hospitality, ServSafe certification, and ability to work full-time in a senior living dining environment.
Required Qualifications
- ServSafe Certification required
- At least 2 years’ experience as a cook in hotel, restaurant, country club or other similar industry.
- Pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening are required
