Job Summary
Sous Chef will be second in command in our cafe, upholding Hard Rock culinary standards and supporting the Kitchen Manager/Executive Chef. Responsible for ensuring food looks and is cooked properly, maintaining brand standards, assisting in design and preparation of orders, upholding hygiene and safety practices, and delivering consistent products and services. Plays a key role in mentoring and developing hourly staff, executing systems and processes, and backing senior management to drive guest satisfaction. Possesses strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to travel and operate in a high-volume hospitality environment. The role requires leadership in training and developing Heart of House employees and stepping in for the Executive Chef or Kitchen Manager when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in the hospitality industry
- Possess all local food management and safety certifications/requirements
