Job Summary
Sous Chef - Athletic Training Table responsible for arranging and participating in activities of cooks and other workers engaged in preparing and cooking food; supervise culinary operations for a Dining Services unit; serve as culinary advisor; plan, coordinate, execute, supervise, and evaluate unit functions; oversee staff in food production, ensure recipe adherence, quality, and presentation; instruct staff on cooking techniques and quality control; assist in interviewing, training, supervision, and evaluation of staff; maintain food safety, portioning, garnishing standards, and provide training and development opportunities. Requires an Associate's degree or equivalent experience, 3 years of related work experience, and ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months) and allergy training (or ability to complete within 6 months). On-campus work location; visa sponsorship not provided.
