Job Summary
Sous Chef and Assistant Culinary Manager responsible for providing customer service to residents, visitors, and staff; assisting the executive chef with daily culinary and administrative tasks; maintaining kitchen order, inventory, and purchase orders; supervising and cross-training culinary staff to prepare, arrange, and plate dishes per the current menu; ensuring sanitation and infection control; upholding residents' comfort, privacy, and dignity; requires English literacy and a high school diploma or equivalent with related experience or training preferred; onboarding includes pay access, interviews, orientation, and training; benefits include 401k with company match and health/dental/vision/life insurance.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a manager, assistant manager and/or supervisor role
- Experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, cooking, plating, culinary arts, and/or hospitality is preferred
- Must submit and pass all applicable pre-employment and annual tests and meet all training and other applicable state and federal guidelines
- Ability to speak, read and write English
- High school diploma, GED, or 1-3 months related experience or training preferred
