Job Summary
Lead day-to-day back-of-house operations and develop a high-performing kitchen team. Oversee service execution, training, inventory controls, ordering, and adherence to food safety standards alongside the Executive Chef. Drive consistency in food quality, supervise line cooks and prep staff, manage scheduling and labor, communicate effectively with kitchen and management, and foster a positive culture during busy service periods.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of kitchen leadership experience
- Strong inventory management and purchasing experience
- Advanced knife skills
- Fish and meat butchery experience preferred
- Strong food safety and sanitation knowledge
- Ability to train and develop kitchen staff
- Experience working in a high-volume restaurant environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods and regularly bend, reach, and stoop
