Job Summary
Manage assigned suppliers and part numbers as the primary contact, coordinating forecasts, production schedules, and delivery commitments to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing. Monitor supplier performance, escalate interruptions, and resolve supply constraints by collaborating with Manufacturing, Planning, Engineering, and Quality teams. Maintain appropriate inventory levels through replenishment strategies, analyze supply-and-demand requirements, and process planning messages within JD Edwards. Participate in daily meetings to update on inventory status and support Engineering Change Notices. Based at Twin Disc's Racine facility, this role requires a Bachelor's degree and three years of manufacturing experience to drive material availability and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Accounting, or related field
- Three (3) or more years of experience in manufacturing, materials management, purchasing, inventory control, supply chain, or production support
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting production planning and inventory management activities
- Knowledge of machining, castings, forgings, or industrial manufacturing components
- APICS CPIM certification or other supply chain certification
