Job Summary
Research and enter part numbers and alternate part numbers into the company ERP system. Source aviation components using internal historical data and external platforms like ILS and Haystack. Prepare, issue, and manage Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to approved and prospective vendors, then enter vendor quotations into the ERP system. Support vendor onboarding, data maintenance, and trace documentation review for ISO and 8130 certifications. Communicate sourcing challenges and part-availability issues with Sales, Business Development, and internal stakeholders while utilizing technical manuals to identify viable sourcing solutions. This role supports senior team members in procurement activities to meet customer and inventory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or related field (recent graduates encouraged to apply)
- 3+ years related experience
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Basic understanding of supply chain concepts (inventory, forecasting, procurement)
- Detail oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus
