Job Summary
Sourcing Specialist Procurement role focusing on contract negotiations, RFP processes, vendor selection, and cross-functional collaboration. Lead business requirement gathering sessions, develop bidding packages, represent Florida Blue as the single point of contact with potential suppliers during the RFP process, facilitate vendor presentations, and use formal scoring matrices to support vendor selection. Ensure compliance with corporate policies and federal procurement regulations, manage due diligence related to FEP, CMS, State Group, HIPAA, HITECH, and other regulatory requirements, and draft/negotiate mid-complexity contracts with stakeholders and vendors. Requires 5+ years of related experience and a related Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or related equivalent work experience
- 5+ years related work experience
- Successful contract negotiation experience in mid-complexity SaaS/Technology-related Professional Services, BPO, or Health Services
- Good working knowledge of IT infrastructure related to SaaS solutions
- Ability to draft, present and negotiate contract language with stakeholders and vendors
- Understanding of legal, risk and business implications of contract language
- Ability to manage due diligence for FEP, CMS, State Group, HIPAA, HITECH requirements
- Ability to develop acquisition and negotiation strategies and execute with accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication for executive summaries and negotiations
- Strong analytical and project-management skills
- Ability to handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in data analysis to support procurement improvements
