Job Summary
Sourcing supplies, materials, and services at competitive prices while maintaining long-lasting relationships with suppliers. Obtain quotes from various sources, negotiate pricing, quantity, and delivery schedules, and compile detailed cost breakdowns. Generate quote comparisons to contribute to internal supplier selection and provide solutions for improving company spending. Draft detailed contracts with legal counsel to ensure all procurement details are accurate, and maintain an updated supplier database. Identify alternative suppliers if existing ones fail to meet obligations. Implement inventory optimization strategies within the company.
Required Qualifications
- 3-4 years of relevant experience
- Bachelors' degree in administration, logistics, supply chain or related field
- Proven experience in sourcing process
- Proficiency in Microsoft word, PowerPoint, excel and outlook
- A thorough understating of sourcing methodologies
- Strong negotiation skills
- Sound time-management and organizational skills
- Drug-Free Working Environment
