Job Summary
Sourcing Specialist for Global Sourcing within IPG's paper-based materials group. Responsible for supporting category strategies for raw materials (including paper and release liners), coordinating trials and supplier engagements, leading/assisting in RFQ/RFP processes, evaluating supplier capabilities and performance via KPIs, and delivering data-driven insights on cost, quality, availability, and innovation. Works across R&D, Plant Operations, Quality, and Procurement to plan material trials, qualifications, and changes; maintains paper markets knowledge; develops sourcing roadmaps; analyzes demand/supply and market trends; manages trial data quality and reporting/dashboards; and supports supplier negotiations and continual improvement. Travel up to 20%, hybrid onsite requirement at Sarasota, FL headquarters with 2-3 days onsite.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Purchasing or Supply Chain in manufacturing
- Experience in raw material sourcing, preference for paper and paper-based materials
- Experience finding, qualifying, assessing, and auditing suppliers, including international
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent planning, organizational and oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and reporting/dashboard tools
- Travel is required (up to 20%). Some international travel may be required.
