Job Summary
Develop sourcing models and plans to generate talent pools, networks, and pipelines while creating and executing robust search strategies. Engage, sustain relationships, screen, and interview highly specialized engineering talent in Structural, Mechanical, Avionics, and Electrical Engineering roles, as well as positions requiring security clearances. Collaborate with hiring managers and business unit leaders to lead scoping discussions, weekly tag-ups, and candidate debriefs. Act as a subject matter expert and strategic talent advisor to leadership at all levels. Prepare search status reports and lead client update meetings on active searches. Dive deep into technical requirements of requisitions and supported business units. This fixed-term, on-site role supports Blue Origin's Space Vehicles division, enabling Team Blue to acquire talent for reusable spaceflight systems.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for our mission and vision
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent of experience in recruiting
- 5+ years of Technical Recruiting experience to include Engineering, Manufacturing, or IT positions
- Strong professional communication skills and demonstrated ability to influence and advise business leaders
- Demonstrated success in generating leads using a variety of platforms and sourcing methods
- U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e. current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
- Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
