Job Summary
The Sourcing Project Manager is pivotal in managing Source-to-Contract processes, ensuring they run seamlessly. Responsibilities include developing sourcing execution approaches, managing global sourcing across the Technology category, and executing complex sourcing initiatives. The role involves leading cross-functional teams, advising category managers on category strategies, conducting contract negotiations, and ensuring supplier compliance. Candidates should have over 6 years of procurement experience, a master's degree in a relevant field, and strong expertise in strategic sourcing and vendor management in the banking sector. Additional skills expected include strong project management and stakeholder management capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- University/Post Graduate (Masters degree) in Computer Science or similar
- >6 years in Procurement area at tactical/strategic level in an international financial services provider organisation
- >2 years experience in actively coaching (functional) procurement colleagues
- >5 years experience in strategic (and complex) contract sourcing, project management, complex negotiations, transformation and migration programs in the Technology category
- Experience in leading and managing large-scale programs for procurement bank, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline
- Deep understanding of the banking industry, procurement processes, including regulatory frameworks, compliance requirements, and emerging trends
- Proven track record in delivering Procurement Value
- Experience in leadership and transformation.
