Job Summary
Manage purchasing, positioning, and execution of $320-600 MM in annual spend across macro ingredients for Purina's animal nutrition business. Analyze domestic and global S&Ds to recommend short and long-term positioning strategies, then execute ingredient sourcing plans with R&D and sales to maximize profitability. Lead cross-functional teams in problem-solving ingredient issues related to quality and price while training staff. Requires 10+ years of agricultural sourcing experience and extensive knowledge of market dynamics and risks. Located at corporate headquarters in Arden Hills, MN, with in-office days Tuesday through Thursday.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years of sourcing experience
