Job Summary
Lead strategic sourcing initiatives across a defined supplier portfolio, driving excellence in service, quality, and cost for sustaining and new product businesses. Manage sourcing workstreams for product transfers, insourcing, and manufacturing transformation projects, ensuring supplier readiness and successful execution against quality, cost, and timeline objectives. Identify, assess, select, and onboard suppliers through RFQs and capability assessments to support project requirements, while driving competitive outcomes through pricing negotiations and contract execution. Partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Regulatory teams to manage supplier deliverables, qualification milestones, and launch readiness activities. Proactively identify sourcing risks, develop mitigation plans, and provide clear updates to project teams and senior leadership on supplier performance and financial impact.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years in Supply Management with focus on strategic sourcing and supplier development
- Bachelors Degree
- Ability to negotiate effectively to obtain best prices and terms on products, materials, and services
- 20% travel
- Work the majority to 100% of time from an alternate workplace
- Work within the country of the job requisition location
Desired Qualifications
- Experience leading sourcing activities for product transfers, insourcing initiatives, contract manufacturing transitions, or large-scale supply chain projects
- Demonstrated success onboarding suppliers and managing complex supplier qualification efforts
- Strong commercial negotiation and supplier relationship management skills
- Ability to lead multiple high-priority projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
- Experience in regulated manufacturing environments, preferably medical device, electronics, electromechanical assembly, or industrial products
