Job Summary
Sourcing Manager for Starlink Aviation responsible for managing the supply chain for Starlink products across airframes and enterprise platforms. Develop procurement strategies, drive make vs. buy decisions, and manage contracts to ensure supplier performance from development through production. Coordinate with engineering, quality, and cross-functional teams to improve supplier quality, total cost, and delivery; manage master data in MRP; conduct supplier analysis to optimize costs and continuity of supply; leverage data analytics to identify opportunities and improvements in cost, space, and processes; communicate status to management and navigate a fast-moving aerospace environment. Requires 5+ years in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, or related fields, with aerospace familiarity, AS9100/FAA knowledge, and strong communication skills. Proficiency in ERP/MRP, cross-functional project management, and risk-based decision making is essential. ITAR considerations and extended-hours travel may be required; includes a base salary range of $115,000–$150,000 per year.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in Engineering, Purchasing, Contract negotiation, Materials or production planning, Operations or supply chain management, or related fields; 9+ years of experience in lieu of a degree
