Sourcing Manager

Job Summary
Manage overall spend across assigned commodity categories and develop category sourcing plans to optimize supplier matrices and achieve financial goals. Lead the development and implementation of supplier strategies, including spend assessments, consolidation, and bid/price analysis, while negotiating complex global agreements on quality, delivery, and terms. Structure cost reduction programs using value analysis techniques, conduct total cost of ownership analyses, and manage supplier performance reviews to ensure repeatable product quality with minimal inventory. Partner with Engineering, Project Management, and Quality to align design with strategic bases, support new product launches, and mitigate supply chain risks through contingency planning. Develop and maintain the supplier contract database and legal documents. Some travel required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, economics, supply chain or engineering
- Five+ years of increasing responsibilities
- manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to influence key stakeholders and cross-functional partners
- Demonstrated track record of RFP development, sourcing processes, strategies execution, project management and transition plans
- Detail oriented strategic thinker
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Exhibits business acumen and analytical capabilities required
- Comfortable with ambiguity – flexible and adaptable
- Microsoft Outlook
- Advanced Excel skills
- Some travel
