Sourcing Manager - Raw Materials

Job Summary
Sourcing Manager responsible for executing sourcing strategies across core ingredient categories (cocoa, sugar, dairy, oils, and specialty ingredients), leading RFQs and supplier selections, and negotiating pricing and contracts to ensure reliable supply and cost savings. You’ll manage supplier relationships, monitor performance, and collaborate with Operations, Planning, R&D, and Quality to support new product development, compliance with food safety and regulatory requirements, and reporting on savings and supplier metrics. The role is hybrid and based in Kansas City, MO with three days onsite per week; relocation is not available. If visiting manufacturing plants, you’ll adhere to GMP/FSQA training and contribute to ongoing food safety culture.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of sourcing or procurement experience in raw materials, food ingredients, or CPG manufacturing
- Experience negotiating supplier contracts and managing supplier relationships
- Strong understanding of cost drivers and supply dynamics in food or ingredient categories
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
