Job Summary
Strategic procurement leadership for SpaceX's Raptor program with emphasis on sourcing strategy, supplier development, cost optimization, and reliable supply chain execution. Responsible for analyzing supplier spend and capabilities, negotiating contracts, developing core supplier base, guiding NPI and mass production, and coordinating with engineering to balance cost, reliability, and production rate. Drive vendor performance, risk management, and inventory health, while interfacing with stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery and alignment with aggressive program cost goals. Requires experience in advanced manufacturing or aerospace supply chains, strong cost controls, and ability to work in a fast-moving environment. Travel up to 15% and on-site at Hawthorne, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree and 3+ years of experience in Engineering, Purchasing, Contract negotiation, Operations or supply chain management, Cost control; or bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in these areas; or 9+ years of experience in these areas
