Sourcing Manager Packaging for EMEA Region

Job Summary
Develop and implement packaging sourcing strategies across the EMEA region, leading activities including RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, bid analysis, and supplier selection. Build strategic relationships with packaging suppliers, negotiate agreements, and manage the full contract lifecycle while identifying cost-saving opportunities through market and spend analysis. Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, and finance stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and support business objectives by analyzing market trends and innovation opportunities. This role is based in Geneva, Switzerland, requiring a Bachelor's degree and five years of sourcing experience in a multinational environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Procurement, Operations, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, commercial, or operations roles within a multinational environment
- 3+ years of experience managing packaging categories or related category management responsibilities
- Knowledge of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and packaging supply markets
- Proven experience managing supplier relationships, negotiations, and contract management activities
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Professional proficiency in English
- Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP
Desired Qualifications
- Experience within agriculture, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, or a related industry
- MBA
