Sourcing Manager, Mexico/Bi-lingual

Job Summary
Partner with Category Leaders to develop and execute sourcing strategies across direct material categories, ensuring alignment with business objectives, supply continuity, and cost competitiveness. Lead strategic sourcing projects within GEP, including project creation, RFx event execution, supplier engagement, and tracking. Conduct RFx analytics to evaluate proposals, identify cost savings, and support data-driven sourcing decisions. Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to implement value engineering initiatives and optimize the supply base. Serve as the Sourcing representative for project reviews, status updates, and reporting of financial results and savings performance. This bi-lingual role requires a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years of experience, and strong Excel skills, with 1-20% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of relevant working experience
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Must have strong background using Excel
- History of making sourcing decisions with cross-functional teams
- Strong communication abilities; both internal and external partners
- Project management skills, and ability to drive towards a target date
- Excellent data analysis capabilities
- Negotiation experience in a business-to-business setting
- Curiosity & Problem-Solving Capability
- Creativity & Collaborative Growth Mindset
- 1-20% travel
Desired Qualifications
- History working in the Lighting Industry
- General understanding of contracting concepts, language, and strategies
- Familiarity with ERP, and electronic sourcing software, power apps and automation
