Sourcing Manager

Job Summary
Identify, vet, and onboard domestic and international suppliers for plumbing, HVAC, and building products while negotiating pricing, payment terms, and contracts to secure favorable agreements. Drive sourcing initiatives aligned with global sales strategy, evaluate supplier capabilities against industry standards like ASME and UL, and coordinate import/export logistics with freight forwarders and compliance teams. Monitor global market trends, commodity pricing, and geopolitical factors to mitigate single-source risk and maintain a diversified supplier base. Track supplier performance metrics and lead corrective actions as needed. Participate in meetings across time zones and travel abroad to develop key relationships. Requires 3+ years of sourcing experience, proficiency with ERP software, and ability to work outside standard business hours.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management
- Demonstrated experience sourcing plumbing and/or HVAC products, components, or materials
- Basic working knowledge of plumbing and HVAC systems, terminology, and industry standards/certifications
- Proven experience managing both domestic and international supplier relationships
- Strong negotiation and cost-analysis skills
- Familiarity with import/export regulations and international logistics
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work across time zones and cultures
- Proficiency with ERP/procurement software and Microsoft Excel
- Travel abroad as required to develop & maintain new and existing key product & supplier relationships
- Applicants must be lawfully authorized to work in the United States
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field
- Experience Sourcing from manufacturers in Asia Pacific, Mexico & European Regions
