Job Summary
Sourcing Manager for Colombia based in Colombia to lead green coffee sourcing for a startup focused on procurement and distribution. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining supplier relationships, leading supplier communications, managing the sourcing team, assisting with commercial pricing, representing the client at industry events, and leading green coffee sourcing processes. Must have 3+ years in sourcing/procurement or supply chain, experience in coffee or agricultural commodities preferred, strong negotiation and relationship skills, travel domestically and internationally, ability to work across time zones, fluent English and Spanish, proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Canvas, and strong organizational skills. Remote work is available.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management
- Prior experience in the coffee industry or agricultural commodities (preferred)
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
- Self-starter with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Comfortable working across different time zones and cultures
- Fluent in both spoken and written English and Spanish is required
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Canvas
- Laptop / Computer; consistent, fast internet connection
- Must be based in Colombia
- Work Hours - 7am - 3:30 pm Colombia time (preferable)
