Sourcing Lead, NPI

Job Summary
Lead sourcing activities for NPIs, aligning with Global Sourcing to drive strategic direction; negotiate and implement contracts (NDAs, SOWs, developmental agreements), execute RFQs, perform formal supply chain risk analyses, and propose mitigation plans; drive supplier cost and NRE reductions during product development and ongoing cost-reduction initiatives; may lead supplier portions of projects. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Supply Chain, 4 years of relevant experience, and experience in highly regulated industries. Travel ~10%. Remote work majority with potential on-site or hybrid requirements depending on assignment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or Supply Chain Management, required
- 4 years engineering or supply chain management supporting new product introductions, required
- Medical Device, Pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industry experience, highly preferred
- Influencing and negotiation skills
- Ability to negotiate effectively to obtain best prices and terms on products, materials, and services
