Sourcing Lead - Front End Engineering

Job Summary
Sourcing Lead will support and manage end-to-end sourcing and contracting projects, including case management, market intelligence, and development of the approach-to-market. Responsibilities include supplier prequalification, set-up in P2P systems, event management (RFI/RFP/Auctions), bid evaluation coordination, contract drafting and negotiation, execution, and post-award contract management. The role requires collaboration with stakeholders and bidders, ensuring alignment with governance in respective regions, and maintaining price books. Candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree, 6–8 years of related experience in energy-sector sourcing and contracting (oil & gas a plus), English fluency, and the ability to work in a hybrid office/remote environment. Familiarity with Ariba Source to Pay, Compass, and Salesforce is advantageous. The position follows shift schedules (1:00 PM–10:00 PM or 3:00 PM–12:00 AM) and is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with remote-location flexibility.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- Engineering background and SCM certifications will be added advantages
- Six (6) to Eighth (8) years of practical and application in End to End sourcing and contracting of services and commodities in Energy sector (Oil & Gas advantageous)
- Three (3) to Four (4) years of experience in engineering services, business consultancy and EPC services (advantage)
- Knowledge of different contracting strategies
- Good stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in a large and multi-cultural team
- Fluent in English (oral and written) language
- Ability to work on shift hours
- Ability to work on remote location basis
- Desirable familiarity with Ariba Source to Pay and Compass; Salesforce advantageous
