Sourcing Lead - Business Consulting

Job Summary
Lead complex sourcing and contracting projects across the Corporate Services category portfolio, including Business Consulting, Audit, Tax, Payroll, Banking, and Accounting services. Act as the category focal point to develop sourcing strategies, manage supplier selection processes, negotiate commercial agreements, and deliver measurable commercial outcomes. Build and maintain effective stakeholder and supplier relationships while providing category guidance and mentoring to team members. Ensure compliance with procurement governance, policies, and BP's Code of Conduct. Support continuous improvement initiatives and promote procurement guidelines within a global network of like-minded colleagues.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, Law, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of sourcing, procurement, category management, or contracting experience in a multinational environment
- Strong understanding of end-to-end procurement and sourcing processes
- Demonstrated experience in supplier negotiations and contract management
- Proven stakeholder management and influencing skills across multiple organisational levels
- Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex projects simultaneously
- Proficient in relevant procurement systems and Microsoft Office applications
Desired Qualifications
- Proven experience within Corporate Services categories, preferably including Business Consulting, Audit, Tax, Payroll, Banking, Accounting, or related professional services
- Experience in category management and category strategy development
- Professional procurement qualification (e.g., CIPS or equivalent)
- Experience working in global or cross-functional procurement environments
- Knowledge of sourcing and contracting within professional services categories
- Experience mentoring or coaching team members
