Job Summary
Sourcing Expert is responsible for conducting end-to-end sourcing activities from requirements data gathering to implementation of contracted terms in IT systems, with fluent communication to stakeholders, suppliers, and Procurement colleagues. The role includes RFx activities (RFI/RFP/RFQ), contract term negotiations, contract implementation in systems, supplier scouting and onboarding, supplier relationship management and escalation, business case creation, savings calculation, and reporting. Responsibilities cover category strategy inputs and execution support, supplier market intelligence, supplier qualification and due diligence, supplier consolidation, issue resolution with Business/Quality/GBS teams, scorecard preparation, tender/documentation storage, and collaboration to define negotiation targets and Total Cost of Ownership analyses. Technical proficiency expected includes eSourcing tools (e.g., Jaggaer), contract lifecycle management (e.g., Contract PodAI), SAP/SAP Ariba, Power BI, MS Office, and experience with global, cross-functional teams. The role supports hybrid/work arrangement between the office (Wroclaw) and remote work, and requires advanced negotiation, procurement, and strategic sourcing knowledge, plus strong organization, adaptability, and stakeholder management skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance or Engineering, required
- Procurement or Supply Chain certification is an advantage
- Project management certification is an advantage
- Commercial law certification is an advantage
- English (written and spoken) – Fluent
- Italian language – Fluent
- +12 years of experience in procurement, including purchasing and/or category management and/or contract life cycle management processes
- +5 years worked in a multinational environment and global position
- Knowledge of e-sourcing (e.g. Jaggaer), contract life-cycle management (e.g. Contract PodAI) and other Procurement related tools (e.g. Sievo, ORO Labs, Aravo, Sustainability)
- Advanced knowledge of SAP, SAP Ariba, Power BI and A/P Invoice processing tools
- Advanced knowledge of MS Tools Xls, Power Point, Word
- MS Teams
- Experience on project management and continuous improvement
- Experience in health care sector is an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Tendering and Contracting
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
- Knowledge of Category Management, Market intelligence, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models, Should-cost analysis
- Knowledge of contracting terms, clauses, liabilities, contract risks
- Project management expertise with the ability to carry projects from planning through implementation
- Ability to work in virtual, geographically dispersed, cross-cultural teams
- Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives/projects in a fast-paced environment
