Job Summary
Sourcing Engineer focused on cost estimation and procurement for fabrication and machining parts. Responsible for drawing study, issuing RFQs to suppliers, analyzing quotes, and preparing reliable cost estimates across processes such as laser cutting, plasma/oxy cutting, hydraulic bending, and rolling. Collaborates with teammates to set cost targets, identify cost-reduction opportunities, monitor trends, and support change processes with cost impact analyses. Utilizes cost methodologies and tools to maintain accurate data, ensures supplier quotations meet should-cost estimates, and communicates findings to stakeholders to drive cost optimization. Requires engineering background, hands-on knowledge of machining/fabrication processes, nesting, AutoCAD, SAP MM, and strong data analysis and communication skills. Hybrid working arrangement offered with a location in Alwar, Rajasthan, India.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering Degree/Diploma in Engineering from any reputed university
- 3-6 years of experience in a similar global engineering/manufacturing environment (experience in fabrication/machining industry preferred)
- Good Knowledge of Auto Cad, Nesting, Advance Excel & SAP MM Module
- Sound knowledge of Different Machining Processes like CNC, VMC, HMC, Boring, Milling etc.
- Sound knowledge of RM like Steel Plates, Rounds Bars, I-Beams, Angles Channels etc.
