Sourcing Engineer

Job Summary
Sourcing Engineer responsible for managing sourcing constraints to ensure accurate demand allocation and supply planning; performing spend analysis to identify cost drivers and optimization opportunities; leading value added engineering projects such as alternate suppliers and BOM qualification; maintaining SOPs and driving process simplification to improve efficiency and reduce costs; leading sourcing activities including supplier negotiations on technical details and BOMs, and coordinating with Supplier Management to optimize cost, capacity, and material availability; analyzing sourcing constraints and capacity vs. demand to support operational and strategic planning; directing exits for non-performing products and suppliers.
Required Qualifications
- University degree or higher in engineering, supply chain or related discipline
- Experience supporting cost analysis, spend reporting, supplier performance monitoring, or sourcing operations
- Experience in supply chain/procurement/sourcing is an added advantage
- Understanding of supply chain planning, sourcing, and manufacturing operations
- Ability to consolidate large datasets and translate them into actionable business insights
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Independent and motivated to drive project/issues closure and completion
