Sourcing Engineer

Job Summary
Drive new product development projects by building requests for quotes, recommending supplier selection, and managing costed bill of materials ownership. Lead global sourcing initiatives including cost modeling, make/buy analysis, and capital expenditure while communicating supply chain risks to stakeholders. Partner with suppliers to optimize design for manufacturability and ensure compliance with quality standards. Support electrical counterparts in component sourcing and align supply chains for mechanical and electronic subassemblies. Conduct supplier decision reviews with executive leadership and lead technical drawing reviews. Manage complex supply chains with multiple suppliers and develop commodity strategies based on historical business data. Work locally in Monterrey with a Bachelor's in mechanical engineering.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's in mechanical engineering or related field
- 3–5 years' experience
- Knowledge of quality processes (PPAP, SPC, DFM, FMEA)
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to individuals of diverse backgrounds
- Strong project management skills
- MS Office skills
- Advanced english
- Location: Monterrey
