Sourcing/Commodity Mgr

EMS Commodity Manager oversees the commercial relationship with contract manufacturers that produce our products, guiding supplier partnerships to optimize cost, quality, supply continuity, and technology. Responsible for strategy development across EMS/ODM/OEM partners, leading negotiations (NDAs, SOWs, corporate agreements), issuing RFPs, evaluating quotes with should-cost analyses, driving cost reductions for prototypes and series, and maintaining high quality and cost competitiveness. Manages supplier relationships at executive levels, prioritizes needs across product development, NPI, supply chain planning, and fulfillment, and serves as escalation path when production/quality milestones lag. Collaborates cross-functionally to drive total cost of ownership, time to market, supply chain performance, and compliance objectives. Ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree (MBA or advanced degree preferred), 10+ years in operations/contract manufacturing/account management with EMS/ODM partners, strong negotiation/contract-management/analytical skills, excellent communication, and fluency in English and Mandarin.
