Job Summary
Sourcing Associate (temporary; full-time) at Bombas, HQ in New York City. You will issue and update purchase orders to factories and suppliers with high accuracy, track and update costing, ship dates, and production details, monitor sample POs and coordinate factory inspections through the QIMA system, obtain shipment information and share updates with internal teams, manage production/shipment records across internal systems, relay FedEx tracking information, and support day-to-day production coordination and other operational projects. The role requires 1+ years of experience in sourcing, production, or product development; strong Excel skills; ability to learn new systems quickly; excellent organizational and time-management abilities; and effective communication with internal teams and external suppliers. The position is based at Bombas HQ in New York City with a hybrid schedule (Tuesdays–Thursdays in the office; Mondays & Fridays flexible). The offered pay range is $28.00 to $34.00 per hour, with at-will employment and potential extension depending on business needs.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in sourcing, production, or product development
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (a plus)
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter with strong communication skills
- Attention to detail in data entry and system updates
