Job Summary
Read and interpret welding symbols and blueprints to execute required welds on industrial equipment parts of varying sizes. Verify part positioning, dimensions, and squareness before welding, then select appropriate welding equipment and filler wire based on specified procedures. Perform welds on multiple materials and thicknesses using MIG and TIG processes, conducting pressure or hydrostatic tests when necessary. Maintain a clean and safe work area while performing related tasks. Requires 4 to 5 years of welding experience with MIG and TIG skills, reading plans, and adaptability to confined spaces, heights, and temperature variations. Permanent day shift, 40 hours per week, with flexible scheduling and overtime opportunities. Salary ranges from $27.36 to $35.08 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Avoir terminer votre DEP en soudage/montage ou détenir une expérience pertinente
- 4 à 5 ans d'expérience en tant que soudeur
- Maîtriser les procédés de soudure MIG toutes positions et TIG
- Être à l'aise avec la lecture de plan
- Capacité d'adaptation à différents environnements (espace clos, hauteur, variation de température, etc.)
- Rigueur et minutie
- Être autonome et débrouillard
