Sorting Utility Operator

Operate various powered industrial trucks to receive materials into the plant and prepare for stocking, working with the receiving clerk to ensure timely off-loading and maintaining paperwork from freight lines. Perform quantity verification of Bills of Ladings and catalog received items in designated areas per 5S and visual workplace standards. Operate powered floor scrubbers to maintain clean floors, check equipment for peak efficiency, and monitor processes while reporting problems to the supervisor. Maintain daily sign-off sheets for all operated equipment and follow standard operating and safety procedures. Work the 6 PM to 6 AM shift on a 2-2-3 schedule.
