Job Summary
Sort and segregate recoverable materials such as aluminum, plastic, glass, and paper from incoming waste, depositing them safely into appropriate chutes. Inspect loads for unacceptable waste and remove items as required, while communicating with equipment operators regarding special waste or loads needing special attention. Assist with heavy or bulky items as needed and follow all safety policies, including stopping the conveyor belt in emergencies. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a Recycling Facility sorting recyclable materials
