Job Summary
Unload and sort freight by preloading up to five trucks while pulling assigned items off conveyor belts. Scan, cube, and reweigh packages; accurately count truck stops and write premium product details while loading. Operate conveyor and roller belts inside trailers, cargo containers, and package vehicles while adhering to all safety standards and proper scan/load techniques. Lift and carry up to 70 lbs with a sense of urgency in a time-sensitive environment. Build positive relationships with team members including couriers, lead hands, and other sorters. Maintain regular and reliable attendance and complete a criminal record check and employment verification. Work 330am to 830am Tuesdays through Fridays and 630am to 1130am on Saturdays.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift and/or carry up to 70 lbs
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency in a time sensitive environment
- Willingness to work as part of a team
- Attention to process, quality and/or operational standards
- Successfully complete a criminal record check and employment verification to qualify
- Regular and reliable attendance
- 330am - 830am Tues - Fri
- 630am - 1130am Sat
