Job Summary
Process and sort all textile donations based on quality and brand, placing non-sellable items into outlet containers and non-seasonal back stock items in designated boxes. Maintain the production area by keeping work stations clean, neat, and in a safe condition while adhering to the dress code and Core Principles. Attend in-service training as assigned and perform other duties directed by the Team Leader or Production Leader. This role requires the ability to stand for long periods and involves basic math skills for inventory tracking.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to adhere to the organizations Core Principles
- Knowledge of retail and/or stock handling
- Ability to react calmly and react to emergency situations
- Ability to listen and follow directions
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Knowledge of linen brands and varieties
- Level 1: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance
- Beginner knowledge of computers
