Job Summary
The Sorter/Donation Processor prepares donations for retail sale or salvage according to Salvation Army policy. Duties include sorting, cleaning, preparing, shipping, and receiving donated items, maintaining a clean donation area, and adhering to safety policies during truck loading and unloading. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and entails performing physical tasks like lifting up to 75 pounds. Other responsibilities involve determining saleable or salvageable items and following proper dress code as per supervisor's requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or General Education degree (GED)
- One or two months of related job experience and/or training
- Completion of all safety training requirements
