Job Summary
Start machines and perform daily checks to detect malfunctions, reporting issues to the supervisor. Execute daily preventive maintenance and simple setups to ensure good machine operation. Perform red rabbits (Camera Verification) after each changeover, label finished goods, and weigh/check products to ensure they are free of mixtures and defects. Maintain a safe, clean, sanitized, and organized work environment while complying with all company procedures, policies, and work instructions. Assist in business improvements using ITW operating principles. Forklift certification is required.
Required Qualifications
- High school education or GED
- Forklift Certification
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Ability to stand
- Ability to walk and manipulate hands, wrist, and fingers to grasp tools and parts
- Ability to reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
