Job Summary
Conduct weekly French tutoring sessions for a motivated adult beginner in central Doha, focusing on fluency elevation from beginner to excellence. Deliver engaging, entertaining lessons that balance natural-born authority with a supportive, humorous approach to instill confidence. Provide insightful, constructive feedback while maintaining strict confidentiality and diplomatic skills. Ensure all sessions are meticulously organized and adaptable to last-minute arrangements, leveraging expertise in business French, elocution, and phonetics. The role requires a Sorbonne or HEC-educated professional with at least five years of experience teaching professional adults, starting ASAP with flexible hours fitting the tutor's schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Already based in Qatar (mandatory)
- Sorbonne/HEC-educated professional
- Experience teaching French
- Experience teaching business French
- Experience teaching elocution
- Experience teaching phonetics
- Experience teaching professional adults
- Elevating the fluency of the latter from beginner to excellence
- DBS
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in this role
- Mastering the French language (absolutely non negotiable)
- An eye for detail, being meticulous and highly organised
- Diplomatic skills
- Excellent communicator
- Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree or PhD from a prestigious institution renowned worldwide: The Sorbonne University, HEC Paris, Sciences-Po, etc.
