Job Summary
The Sonography Technologist is responsible for setting up and adjusting equipment, performing routine and complex imaging exams, and ensuring high-quality images are submitted. This position requires critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Essential qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent with two years of experience, or an associate's or technical degree, along with required certifications. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are necessary, and proficiency in Microsoft Office is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 24 Months (2 years) of hire date or job transfer date
- Must be able to speak, read, write and follow instructions in English
