Job Summary
Perform detailed ultrasound examinations of anatomy/pathology, make necessary measurements, document results in the EMR, establish rapport with patients, and provide explanations of procedures. Requires AMA-approved ultrasound training and ARDMS RDMS/RVT certification, with a minimum of two years of experience as an ultrasound technologist in women’s health. Fertility-patient experience strongly preferred; team-oriented with commitment to patient care and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of formal Ultrasound training in an AMA approved school
- ARDMS RDMS/RVT required
- Understanding and ability to follow MD protocols for procedures
- Ability to operate ultrasound equipment
- Prior fertility-patient experience preferred
- Minimum of two years of ultrasound technologist experience in women’s health
